Lose this one and we are on a 3 game losing streak to both our fiercest enemies. I read on Bomberblitz Sheedy has said if the Dons had Laycock and Gumbleton
fit they'd be flag chances. The Bomberblitz faithful agreed. Time to burst their deluded bubble.

No excuses now. Full list. Confidence up. Playing - at best - only top 4-8 contenders (not top two). Looking forward to being tested a bit. Could do well and
still be a cut below flag material, though.

Will we see Ben Johnson get a game before the end of the year? I miss those helicopter fingerbreakers he is so good at.

I actually knew Sheeds was officially gone before the media knew but held it back from the forums out of respect for my mates. Some things you just don't disclose so as not to betray friendships.

Yes Santo because 3 current players arent credible sources....ever thought that sources deliberately tell fibs Spanker? Or is it soarces there spine snapper?
And for the record Medhurst still isnt right and is playing with some pain still. |

Naming BJ as emerg is one from left field.
Malty is saying something with this near 'selection'. God knows what ... that we still need "line breakers" ... and he still rates BJ? that the helicopter kick could be our new secret weapon? that he turns it over less frequently than others getting a game? Or maybe he's just fucking with our heads. What about all that extraordinary depth of young talent we allegedly have? he is a one way trip back to the past ... not the future. (that goes for both of them). |

Ben Johnson apparently had a massive pre season so you'd expect a big improvement upon what he produced last year but unfortuantely broke his leg against
Geelong. However, he might be handy for us if he can get back in the team, and of course continue his workrate on the training track. If he could play some
footy like he produced in the first half of 2006, than he would be a very handy addition to the side. He'd be a bonus.
He has pace, toughness, admittedly his disposal isn't the best however one wouldn't expect the world from him as he is only going to be a fringe player anyway. However he could be very good and thats a very good thing for us as we are aiming for a flag this year. |
