Only Collingwood fans could slag off a coach that gets them into the WC! and with games to spare. Back the Beek!!
Duck walks into a chemist, buys some pills and tells the chemist to put them on his bill! |

yep, a spectacular event most unlike the sore fest that is an AFL GF.
Time to change the MCG to the MFG which will add relevance to all 3 footy codes played there. |

as a long time liverpool supporter i feel sick in the stomach finding out that an our former champion striker micheal owen is going to don the manchester
united shirt in the coming season
now i know how the collingwood supporters from the 70's feel when peter mckenna a collingwood idol spent a season at the scum from pricefixer park or when i saw our premiership hero mick mcguane wearing the scums jumper |

I am a Liverpool supporter too Geoff and find it disappointing that Micheal Owen signed for Manchester United. Micheal Owen left Liverpool in the prime of his
career to go to "a big club which would win trophies" (and pay him more money). It was this move that led to Micheal Owens career gradually spiraling
downwards to the joke it is today.
Ironically the season after Micheal Owen left, Liverpool won their fifth European Cup and the rebuilding of the most successful English club ever was well underway. That rebuilding is almost complete as Liverpool went so close to claiming title 19 just last season. With Rafa already bringing in a world class right back in Glen Johnson and stating that Liverpool will break their transfer record this(northern hemisphere) summer. It appears the rebuilding of LFC is very close to the finished product. With Manchester united considered to be Liverpool's greatest rivals to the title next season reds fans can be heartened with the high quality players leaving United. Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez have gone and their replacements Antonio Valencia and Liverpool Discard Michael Owen will not go close to filling the whole left by these great players. So it would once again be an ironic twist in Micheal Owens Career if after signing for Manchester United the red devils were denied a 19th title by the club he once left in his own words "to win trophies." |

Micheal Owen has just proved that he only cares about
1) Money 2) His dead England career 3) supposedly trophies but more like bonuses for winning them 4) And finnaly his race horses Carlos Tevez ruled out a shock move to Liverpool out of respect to United, even though he had only been there on loan for 2 years. Wheres Owen had been at Liverpool for eight. |

how's the 80,000 that turned up for the unveiling of Ronaldo at Real Madrid. Iguess when the only other event of interest is watching bulls been
slaughtered, you will get a few
I need to do a check, but I think that's a bit more than the amount of fans that turned up at Lexus for Leigh Brown's first training run |

scottdaisy - anyone with a bit of pride and ambition would choose Manchester United over Wigan and the likes who were the only ones interested.
He's on a performance/games based contract too apparently. |

Maybe so but anyway he's only going to sit on the bench at united wheres at Wigan he would at least be in the first 11.
