(people can't really say that about me now because my predictions are nearly always right) If they had Cook and Stanley on their list they would be pumping up their tyres. Gumbleton may not be any good and looked quite suspect in the Nab cup games earlier this year. Neagle is a dud. Apparently Hurley is going to be the best full back in the next ten years even though has only played one game. Myers another first round draft pick could also be naother failure. They think that because Davis took along time to become elite, that the same will happen with Jetta. Ryder is massively overrated. Pears look ok though.

Oh yeah Gumbleton. Pfft. I won't bag Hurley as he has been half decent at Bendigo. Maybe Ty Zantuck is due for a recall from Heidelberg????? I mean really they still have Darcy Daniher, Jay Neagle, Jay Nash. Nah fuck 'em. I hate the dogs.

At the dead end of the game when any 'normal' players kicks one they will just run quietly back to their position.... but Lloyd, fuck no! He almost runs after players looking for their adoration - at the same time shocked that they aren't running to him. Between enduring him and Hird over the last 10 plus years (and Fletcher the cheating tripper) is it any wonder we hate the cunts?

The players who needed to play well after Anzac Day redeemed themselves, if Trav can come to the table with that sort of effort every week then he will have many good games rather than bad ones. I think we all accept his kicking is as it is, and he needs to have at least half a dozen shots every week to have a chance of converting 3 of them. Fraser tore Ryder a new one, and played one of his best games in years. Even thrashed him in the ruck and in every contest. I though he was superb. Should give him great confidence. Again, Medhurst is not right and will take a few more weeks to get right, but its better playing him here than in the VFL. Same with Pendles and Leon, pendles restricted in movement a bit but will be better for the run. And also Toovey is excellent in his role and no way should he be dropped. Their B & F winner barely got a sniff all night. I thought Daisy was excellent in the first half especially, this time he started forward and you can see the difference straight away. We have set ourselves up now, 2 genuine tough games coming up, really need to win next week as games against the dogs always takes it out of us..

His ruck work was precise and so often fell into Leon`s or Did`s arms . As for Didak well he's been sensational every week since he has came back into the side and it seems the club made a very smart decision last year. C3 was great again, he's back in the goals and I really like his aggression when he doesn't have the ball he caught Mcphee a couple of times and nailed him into the ground.

Posts: 444 4-Jul-2009 13:08:16	my problem with c3 is that at 197 he gets all his goals through little men type plays. getting outbodied by slattery ffs. mcphee pantsed him in all 1on1's bar that one in the last quarter. teams have worked him out and play the defender in front and the contest becomes a rebound. i loved his 4 goals but pagans paddock plays against the top2 wont happen. i'd like to see him have a crack on a wing this week against the dogs. swan is our best player by far. scruby kick but the best worker, along with tarks at the club. josh did to paddy what he should of done first time. although ryder looks cooked. it was nice to see our ruck dominate for a change. hope they find room for my boy cox this week. dogs will be a massive test, they wont miss gimmes early.

Posts: 79 4-Jul-2009 13:58:45	You raise a good point about C3 looking through some you tube clips it does seem he gets most of his shoots when there is a lot of space in the forward line for him to run back into and take easy marks. There will usually always be space for this because every player pushes up the ground when the ball is in the other forward line leaving space to run back into. However if he kicks 3-4 goals a game does it matter how he gets them?

If you get a chance to watch the replay, and it's the decision I think you mean, you'll find that he was pinged for dropping the ball.
