nsw were out origined by the maroons... they didnt come to play with the origin spirit where as qld had more origin experience and got the job done in the end.
slater scored a classical origin try and gidley failed in his role as origin captain of nsw.
not sure if it was mentioned but qld won the first origin match of a 3 game origin series and are likely to win their 4th origin series in a row. and if you missed it we are talking about state or origin. someone please shut up gus. |

People that run out and buy Michael Jackson CD's (or any other recently dead singer).....
http://www.theage.com.au/news/entertainment/music/jackson-off-the-wall/2009/07/02/1246127613326.html Why? You have had a lifetime to buy and appreciate his music and yet only choose to do so after a death. These must be the same morbid people who clog the freeways when they slow down to 'rubber neck' a crash scene. Oxygene thiefs all of them. |

apart from classical music and some opera, I notice I now find all music annoying. Even the stuff I bought through my 20s and 30s. My uncle bought a car
without a stereo, I think I now understand why. I appreciate the sound of silence more and more

Tarz, I reckon that suggests that you purchased alot of garbage back in the day.
Music is excellent, its just harder to find quality stuff. |

That the RE has had channel 518 for FSM knows how long and I've been missing Pies' Friday night games (and Saturday night games when the Lions are on)
needlessly for I don't know how long.
On the other hand, it's awesome that the RE now has channel 518: I need miss Pies games no more! |

I reckon you'd have to go back to Nirvana, Pearl Jam and the grunge era for something new and significant. Having said that, I'm becoming more of a fan of so much of the girly, pappy, pop that's on the radio these days- whether it's Lily Allen, Gwen Stefani or whatever: you listen to that for ten hours a day at work, you learn to love it or go insane. |
