Was finished 4 years ago...this is just confirmation. Unfortunately, one of our most over rated and underachieved, who i have never forgiven since the Prelim
03 Saturday..

Achilles means that this year is the last.
The injury v Roos (r3 200[6?]) when he came back far too early ruined his career. We (and he) never saw his best. Fitness form and injury says he'll only be back if our finals position (1-4, 5- For himself he should ice up for the next three months then look at the NFL. Barring extreme list shortage (touch wood) he has nothing left to give us. He's given it all already. |

Almost a blasphemy but currently he does not have a place in our forward structure.
Anything less than 90% fit makes him a liability. What Pears did to Fevola would be minor in comparison to what any mobile full back would do to Ant. |

lc, it WAS cryptic.
Ant's nickname here = SOB = Son of Beheard Sundown = Son Down [posted by Beheard] Therefore: Sundown = Rocca injured (down with injury) Achilles for Ant is career ending. He may manage a game or two but that's it. It's like watching the end of Daics' career. |

You're a hard man, Lones.
Finished by 05? What about 6 goals at the G in Sept 07 in a big final against the Swans (when they were still half decent). ( 9 marks). Was an automatic inclusion in those days. Sadly it's history ... |

Daics booted 8 goals in one of his last games. Even after Lethal fired him, sheeds came sniffing

It is very sad but the big fella has just about had it and will retire at seasons end you would hope. He should not retire yet as if fit we would have to call
upon him if jack, cloke and others all went down in September but I just cant see a place for him at the moment and it hurts because he is a top bloke who
loves the club and would do anything for it.

WILL - age and injury brings everyone down at some stage - cannot be helped - a fact of life.

And I concur with that, he has been a great servant of the club and a great player, I am sad it is ending this way and if he somehow gets fit and top four is
sewn up I would love him to have a farewell game, even better I would love to see him holding a cup but he would have to be playing out of his skin.
