If you take a step back, Ev has once again been very rude. I was quite mild in my response, didn't attacked only his perspective which is clearly biased. It's not logical to pump up the tyres for Richmond players, but by the same token talk down ours. If that makes me illogical, than surely someones perspective must be warped. not sure on cotchin if its stress fractures or a clear crack. hasnt seemed to have lost any of that top end pace or agility which is plus1 for any such injury.
has A ratings for everything you want in a mid: wins contested ball, breaks tackles, vvgood acceleration with side step and most importantly kicks both sides. is a poor mans judd. so little niggles are hardly much of a risk for a talent like him. |

To remind us all of that species of Collingwood supporter that checks in their critical faculties at the door. We've all met them ... and we know how many there are at the club ... and how they've forgiven mediocrity for decades and turned us in to a laughing stock. (Those of you with more time to kill than I will see them at the next AGM). Beat some non performers and the flag is "just around the corner". They always "depth". There's "honorable defeats" against quality teams that can be explained by "if onlys" (injuries, poor goal kicking). There's "next time". Merely better than average players become "stars", "a-graders". When the flag doesn't materialize, it's "next year" when the young guns will have more games under their belt. A president who wantonly blows millions of dollars of club finances in predictably (predicted here at lsd, in fact) doomed property speculation and pub deals, is nothing to worry about - what do millions of dollars wasted mean to Collingwood? It's chicken feed for us? I could go on. Blind enthusiasm, wedded to delusion, no capacity for perspective, and prone to pointless arguing. It's hilarious. He must stay.
