Ev, I'm not down on the actual drafting which in hindsight looks ok in what looks to be an ordinary year.
Injuries can delay or stop development in what is a very hard process. [ leaving out the Shax amd Billy M's of the world ]

I dont like the lack of hard thinking after you have seen them properly for a year or two.
e.g. you probably had to draft Josh #1, but after a couple of years if you could see he didnt have the body or hands
to be the player expected you swap him when he still has currency, let alone giving him a mailbag and popstar status.

Daisy unfortunately is following a similar path, publicity and all, and we seem committed to him long term.
We still kept guys like Egan longer coz it looks bad to be given the arse so quickly for a top ten pick.

Of course this is all very high risk stuff but it's like having a pair of 4's and throwing them back and getting a new hand.
