Very few sides win flags with no ruck. It's true that Haw got smashed in the ruck in last years GF .. but they also gave the game away by kicking 11.23.

I dont agree with that.

The 2007 PF showed it was still a big problem. Malthouse is like Grant Thomas in that he doesnt value ruckmen. Neil Balme told us this at many COllingw3ood functions Turts and I both attended.

In comes Ross Lyon at the Saints and bang! the ruck...

TCT its a lesser problem in 2009, that it was in 2003. I think the Aints have the best ruck combo of the top 8 sides

We go into the game overwhelming favourites with Freo $6 for a win. However, we often lose these sort of games. On a roll with four wins in a row, we are charging towards a top four spot. Dockers may lose Grover at the tribunual and may have one or two injuries from yesterday's game. We have definately lost Pendles however Anthony seems ok. Really looking forward to this game, should be a relaxing game.
