Bit strange selling it but would be good on the ground. Would be more fitted to the body so that it would be harder to hold onto and harder to hold tackles.

You would want to have a reasonable body to wear it. Lets hope joffer and his mates dont invest in one.

Has nothing really to do with money. The only way we make a buck is if the supporter buys it from the club directly. The actual royalty for use of the colours and logo goes to the AFL and forms part of their revenue. One of the worst things in sport IMO, that we do not 'own' our jumper and colours but thats how the AFL world works.

Buy your kids jumper from any outlet other than the Pies and the club will recieve 1/16th of the royalty.

Black and white stripes. Always. Still is. I don't like the "taper", but the stripes aren't compromised, therefore the "clash strip" argument is still valid. I'd like to see the reverse strip.

yeah that ticked me off a bit too dmw. why should we have to receive that shit without agreeing to it? i got 2 of them.

not fazed one way or another about the jumper, but the club's argument for getting all high and mighty about never changing our jumper to have a clash strip seems that little bit weaker.

and while we are on the topic of CFC Marketing ... how disappointing is it to get an SMS from "Gary Pert", only to be reminded to tune into dancing-with-the-stars to see Licca dance? Is this the best news they can offer us? Where is the SMS saying we have snatched the big fish or signed a promising young midfielder?

Further, I don't recall opting-in to receive blatant commercial messages for 3rd parties like Channel 7...
